What Can I Do With a Major in Diplomacy and Global Politics?
Diplomacy and global politics involves the description, analysis, and explanation of international politics and foreign policy behavior and international governmental institutions, processes and policies. This major prepares individuals for active citizenship, for careers in either the United States government, business, or international organizations, and advanced study in the social sciences and law. This is achieved by training students to be observers of political behavior as well as enhancing the students grasp of the swiftly moving events of our century. The liberal arts curriculum requires a basic framework in political science along with related courses in economics, history, and geography.
