Chief Departmental Advisers
If you are looking for general advice and information about a particular major, a good place to start is the chief departmental adviser for the program.
Miami Plan
All students complete the Miami Plan for Liberal Education. The Miami Plan includes courses that help you develop mental agility and problem-solving ability to think for yourself and adapt to a changing world.
Thematic Sequences
A Thematic Sequence is a series of related courses (usually 3) that focus on a theme or subject in a developmental way.In most cases, you must complete at least 1 Thematic Sequence outside the department of your major.
Academic Calendar
Find out important dates such as when classes start, when to register, when the last drop day is, and more.
Internship Services
An internship is an opportunity that combines learning with work and offers a unique experience for career exploration. The essential component is that as you are working, you have structured and intentional objectives to learn about a career field.
