Transferring Credit
If you are thinking of taking courses outside Miami while you are here, you should check with the Transfer Evaluations Office at the Registrar to make sure Miami will accept credits from the school you have chosen. Then in the same office, check to see if the course you want to take will be equivalent to a course here. To get credit for the course, you must receive a C or better, although only the credit hours, not the grade itself, will show on your transcripts. Grades for courses outside Miami are not calculated into your GPA.
