The Circus Comes to Miami...

On Tuesday, July 19, 2005, the Anthropology Museum welcomed the arrival of its new circus collection. Donated by Bob and Alison Brandmiller of Texas, the large collection is comprised of past and present circus memorabilia including books, periodicals, photos, posters, models, and much more.

Moving the collection into its new home in Upham Hall
With the help
of Miami faculty, staff, students and even the Brandmillers themselves, the entire collection was transferred safely to its new home in Upham Hall, Oxford campus, where it will be catalogued and stored.

The circus collection will be made available to members of the public and students alike, however, for the time being appointments are necessary.
