The Museum can provide teachers with clipboards and pencils for use of students doing teacher initiated work.

Current Exhibits provide students with two topics:

One is an exhibit of Native Peoples of North America. Included in this designation are also Mexico and Guatemala. Begininning with the first people during the late glacial period, a general chronology carries the student into the time of European contact and the diversity of cultures present. Emphasis is placed on the culture areas of the Arctic, Eastern Woodlands, Plains, Southwest, California, and the Northwest Coast. The last part of the exhibit takes the student into the present. Arts, crafts, the Pow Wow, and recent developments complete the exhibit.

The second exhibit is about the history and developments of the City. Beginning with the birth of cities around the world, the student will learn of both the diversity of cities, their independent development around the world, and their development into today's cities. The second half of the exhibit introduces the student to several characteristics of cities: dependence on domestication and surplus production, the introduction of complex transportation, developments of law and order, the impact of illness and disease, urban planning and monumental architecture, war and security, and the development of leisure activities.
