Dr. Hays Cummins has taught over 30 field seasons in the tropics mostly in locations in Costa Rica and the Caribbean. While at Miami, Dr. Cummins has received over four million dollars in research funding from the National Science Foundation and other funding agencies. His research interests include global change, coral reef ecology, and science pedagogy.
