 Artist Sandra C. Fernández was born in Queens, New York and raised in Quito, Ecuador but now lives in the U.S. She holds an M.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and teaches at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and in both solo and group shows. Recent activities include the Pan-Am Public Art Project: Art without Borders, Women’s Pavilion, Buffalo, NY (2001), and exhibitions in New York, Canada and Illinois.
