1. Computers-“Students find computers right tools for write times.” Written by Margaret Peterson. Story details the introduction of computers to the English curriculum at Miami University. 3 pages. Three photos, with one on each page; each photo shows a student working at a computer.
2. Regenerate-“Salamanders may hold key to regeneration of digits. Professor hopes for results on humans in 30 to 50 years.” Written by Kathy Schwartz. Story tells how Miami zoology assistant professor, Cherrie Olsen, is studying salamanders to see if regeneration of limbs may be possible for humans in the future. 1 1/3 pages. 3. Wine-“Class vintage primer on the geography of wines.” Written by Hugh Morgan and Susan Pickett.
