Hueston Woods Student Naturalist Club

... is a service organization devoted to assisting and improving the Hueston Woods State Park's Nature Center. The club's primary functions involve overall maintenance of the center and its animal residents, as well as creating public awareness through education. In addition to supporting the Nature Center, the Naturalist Club also aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of nature within the organization and abroad.

Peffer Western Environmental Education Program

... is an environmental education group that works with local elementary schools.

Environmental Awareness Program

... is Living Learning Community open to first-year and upperclass students of any major interested in living in a residence hall with other students and staff concerned about environmental issues. The programming in this community will support learning on current issues and how society affects the environment.

Miami Recyles!

... is a program within Physical Facilities that coordinates the collection, processing, storage, and shipment of recyclable materials. The program promotes recycling on and off campus, and organizes teams of student environmental coordinators who organize events on campus to increase recycling awareness and participation.

Avian Research and Education Institute

... is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of bird populations. The institute is involved in bird banding and educational activities at the Miami University Bird Observatory for Miami students, K-12 classes, and the broader community.
