Environmental Principles & Practice Co-major

Miami University offers 2 environmental co-majors — Environmental Science and Environmental Principles & Practice. A student taking a co-major must also complete a primary major in one of the divisions at Miami. Completion of the co-major satisfies the Miami Plan thematic sequence requirement. A number of departments and academic units participate in the environmental science co-major programs. For more information, contact:

The Environmental Principles & Practice Co-major emphasizes human-nature interaction in understanding environmental patterns and processes. If you are primarily interested in management and policy specializations, such as business, political science, anthropology, or other social sciences, this co-major complements your major especially well.
