My name is Joy Parker, and I teach Life Science, Biology, and Physical Science at Lakota East High School in West Chester, Ohio.  This is my 6th year of teaching.  Many of my students have computers at home, and we have computer labs available as well, so I felt that making some of my class information available online would be convenient and would put more emphasis on practical applications of technology.

I have put together some links that will hopefully help my students, their parents, other teachers, and of course, myself!  These sites are mainly dedicated to students and their parents, so they can check out expectations for the class, topics being covered, grading systems, and possible current events articles for weekly class discussions.  The favorite lessons site is for other science teachers--I have categorized lessons I have found on the internet so that they can be easily accessed and previewed by other science teachers.
