Meeting Costs

• Membership Dues:
  • Full Members: $5
  • Students or Postdoctoral Fellows: $3
  • You do not have to pay OBASM Membership Dues if you already paid them along with your national ASM membership dues.
• Meeting Registration Fee: $5 (covers all drinks and food costs except Saturday lunch and banquet)
• Saturday Meals:
  • Box Lunch - $10.00
  • Banquet - $10.00

Deadline for registration with abstract submission and food options is Friday, March 27.

If you miss the online registration deadline, you are still encouraged to attend the meeting on April 3-4. You can register onsite at the meeting, but you cannot purchase meals after Friday, March 27.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Courtyard by Marriott, 500 Highland Blvd., Newark, OH 43055, for students.
These rooms are available to students, both graduate and undergraduate, at no cost to the student, on a first-come-first-served basis.  We ask that students share rooms but neither OBASM nor the Courtyard by Marriott will assign roommates, so please try to communicate with other students from your university and arrange to share rooms, up to 4 students per room.  To reserve a room, one person from the group who plans to share a room should call the Courtyard by Marriott at (740) 344-1800 and ask to have his/her name put on one of the rooms reserved for the “Ohio Branch ASM group.”

Note: The Courtyard by Marriott in Newark is 5.2 miles from Denison Univerisity ... a trip that will take approximately 10 minutes by car.
