Degree RequirementsStudents in the Molecular Biology Program will pursue an M.S./Ph.D. degree* with a specific major in one of the four participating departments (Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Zoology) with course work and research emphasis in molecular biology. *After students have fulfilled the equivalent of a Masters degree (a minimum of 30 credit hours of graduate work is required), they may be admitted to doctoral study according to departmental procedure. The specific degree requirements will depend on an individual's major Department and on his or her individualized course of study.
