Dr. George Bartley
Dr. George Bartley, a practicing oculoplastic and orbital surgeon, is Chief Executive Officer of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Bartley received his B.A. from Miami in 1978, did an internship in Columbus, and residency at the Mayo Clinic, as well as Wright State University. He joined the Mayo Clinic-Rochester in 1986 where he served until appointed as CEO of Mayo's operations in Florida in 2002. Dr. Bartley is also Mayo Clinic's Vice President for Quality which commenced in 2008. His research focus has included works on acquired lacrimal drainage obstruction.
Dr. Richard Blath
Dr. Richard Blath is the Chief of Urology with St. Louis Urological Surgeons at Christian Northeast Medical. He has special interest in the areas of incontinence, prostate disease, and infertility. He is one of the few surgeons in the St. Louis area who performs vasectomy reversal surgery. Dr. Blath also served in the U.S. Air Force as Chief of the Urology Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Blath graduated from Miami in 1968 with a degree in Zoology, received his M.D. from Washington University in 1972, and served his internship at Vanderbilt in Nashville.

Dr. Thomas Herzog
Dr. Thomas Herzog is Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center at Columbia University in New York City. Clinical specialties include innovative cancer surgery, laparoscopy, colposcopy, and clinical trials studying novel chemotherapeutics and targeted biologics. Dr. Herzog graduated from Miami in 1982 with a degree in Zoology, received his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine in 1986, completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, and his oncology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Kyle Hogarth
Dr. Kyle Hogarth is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Chicago. He is an expert in pulmonary diseases, including interstitial lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis) and sarcoidosis. His research focuses on improving the quality of life and outcomes for patients with sarcoidosis and lung cancer. Dr. Hogarth is also a co-director of the upper Aerodigestive Cancer Risk Clinic, and the Director of the Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Clinical Resource Center at the Univ. of Chicago. He graduated from Miami in 1994 with a B.A. in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Zoology. He received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University in 1998.
Dr. Adolph Lombardi, Jr.
Dr. Adolph V. Lombardi, Jr. received his bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University and his medical degree from Temple University. He completed postgraduate training in general surgery at Temple University Hospital and in orthopaedics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Lombardi pursued two Fellowships in Reconstruction of the Hip and Knee, one with Thomas H. Mallory, MD at Joint Implant Surgeons in Columbus. He joined their practice in 1987 and is now its president. Dr. Lombardi's vision for a physician-owned musculoskeletal specialty hospital spurred the development of New Albany Surgical Hospital, which opened in December 2003. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University in the Departments of Orthopaedics and Biomedical Engineering. He is a designer of the Maxim Knee System and the Vanguard Knee System, which are used internationally, as well as the AVL Anti-Subluxation Rotating Hinge Knee and the Max-Ti Reconstruction Acetabular Cage System. His special interests include less-invasive total knee and total hip arthroplasty, minimally invasive partial knee replacement, complex reconstruction, and rapid rehabilitation protocols for faster recovery after surgery.

Dr. Kenneth McLeish
Dr. Kenneth R. McLeish is Professor of Medicine and of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. McLeish graduated from Miami in 1969 with a degree in Chemistry. He received his M.D. from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1972. Dr. McLeish received his clinical training in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Indiana University Medical Center, and his research training at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, MA. He serves as the Administrative Director of Research Laboratories for the Division of Nephrology. Dr. McLeish's laboratory studies the molecular regulation of neutrophil participation in inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Luette Morton
Mr. Travis Nickels
Mr. Travis Nickels is a second year medical student at The University of Toledo College of Medicine. He is currently interested in pursuing a surgical career. Mr. Nickels graduated from Miami in 2004 with a major in Zoology. Prior to entering medical school, Mr. Nickels continued his studies at Miami under the direction of Dr. David Wilson. In addition to his research that focused on the effect of nitric oxide at the mammalian neuromuscular junction, Mr. Nickels assisted with the Mallory-Wilson Center capstone course, "Current Issues in Medicine." Mr. Nickels completed an M.S. in Zoology (neurophysiology) in 2006 at Miami.
Dr. Fred Rothstein
Dr. Fred Rothstein is Executive Vice President of University Hospitals and President of University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He is regarded as one of the city's finest pediatric gastroenterologists. He received his B.A. from Miami in 1972, and his M.D. from Chicago Medical School. Dr. Rothstein did his residency and fellowship training at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland and then joined the faculty, eventually being appointed to Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology. He was recruited to Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland where he was Director of Pediatrics for over a decade and also served as SVP for Medical Affairs and Chair of Pediatrics. In 1996, he joined University Hospitals as SVP of Clinical Integration and served as Acting President and CEO of University Hospitals from June 2002 until March 2003 when he assumed the role of President of University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
Dr. David Wilson
Dr. David Wilson is a Professor of Zoology at Miami University and Assistant Director of the Mallory-Wilson Center. Prior to his partial retirement, Dr. Wilson served as Director of the Center for eight years. Dr. Wilson is also a member of the Premedical Advisory Committee and teaches Animal Physiology and a capstone course, Current Issues in Medicine. He is a neurophysiologist, primarily interested in the neuromuscular junction and synapse. Dr. Wilson received a B.A in Biology from Hofstra University in 1963 and a Ph.D. in Biological Science in 1968 from the University of Delaware. He did a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University before joining the faculty at Miami.
