Important Information for Exam 2
Exam 2 will be given on Monday October 26. It will cover Chapters 6 through
9, and will consist of 50 multiple choice questions.
I know that some of you have asked me, but I'll reiterate: you are responsible for
all of the material in the text, lecture, films, and posted news items.
Below, I will be posting useful information for before the exam and also the
results of the exam. When they show up as links (colored letters), then the
information is accessible.
- Sample/Review Multiple Choice Questions. Here are some sample/review
multiple choice questions. These questions will not necessarily appear on the exam.
I am providing them so that you have an idea of the type of questions to expect and their degree
of difficulty. Note: this is a java script exam. You can actually
take the exam, and the computer will grade it.
-
I would also highly reccommend the Study Area on MasteringAstronomy. There you can find
review information and study questions for all of the chapters.
- Exam 2 Results are posted on blackboard.
- Exam 2 Statistics.
- Exam 2 with answers. Note: this is a java script exam. You can actually
take the exam question by question, and the computer will grade it.
Note: this exam does not correspond to any of the test
forms actually given. That is, the question numbers and choice letters won't agree
with your paper exam, but they're the same questions.
