Botany 750 Fall 2002 - Recent Advances in Auxin Biology
Tenative Meeting Time: Tuesday 7 - 9 PM
(can be altered if this is an inconvenient time for a lot of students)
Meeting Location: 316 PSN (Conference
Room)
Seminar Topic: This seminar will utilize current research literature that addresses recent advances that have been made in our understanding of auxin biology.
Seminar Format: Students will volunteer to lead seminars on research papers during the course of the semester. Expectations of the student leader will be that they provide a summary of the main objectives and findings of the research paper. This will be followed by the student leader conducting an organized discussion on a critical analysis of the research, as well as, on the implications of the research toward future elucidation of the topic.

The articles below are in Journal
of Plant Growth Regulation. Volume 20, Number 3, 2001 (This special
issue explores the role of auxin in plant growth and development.) NB.
Miami subscribes to the on-line version of this journal, but this issue
had not become available as of 23 April 2002.
