OAA Titles (Components of the Older Americans Act)

 

The Older Americans Act can best be understood in relation to its various subheadings – or titles, as they are known in government parlance. The act has seven titles. The most recent of them, Title VI (grants to Native American tribal organizations as separate entities from standard area agencies on aging) and Title VII (elder rights; and benefits outreach) were funded in 1980 and 1992, respectively.
